Software

The software is included with the initial shipment of body cams but a supervisor will need to contact 10-8 Video either by email at [email protected] or phone (1-931-297-2292) for a copy.

Software Notes

The software MUST be running before connecting the Body Camera to the computer.
If the software is not running before the Body Camera is connected, the Body Camera will simply charge its battery.
Exiting the software while the Body Camera is connected to the computer will enter the Body Camera back into charging mode.

Player Software

Software

If your system supports 2 cameras and dual SecureDigital (SD) cards this is the software you need to play the video.

Firmware

Firmware Update – ver 13103001 – 10/30/2013 ~11.8 MB (ZIP)

Instructions

Right click on the link above and choose "Save Link As…" and save the file to your hard drive.
Next, put the file onto an SD card and place in the DVR.
Power up the system and the DVR will see the file and automatically upgrade the firmware.
The screen will show "Upgrading" for a few minutes and then re-boot.
Once the system has booted, go to the "Tools" Menu then select "Defaults".
Select "Reset Defaults". This will apply the proper settings in the new firmware update.
